Fast codec?
O.K., I use H.264 for most everything. But, as you know, it takes forever to compress.
What do I use if I am willing to sacrifice a bit of quality when I really want fast compression times? Final product will be small (320x240) web video. --Darin |

I use Sorenson 3. It was a pretty standard web codec for QuickTime before H.264. It looks decent at reasonable framerates, and it's much faster to compress than H.264.
