Capturing Error

Hi guys,

I just shot a bunch of surf footage on my Sony HDR FX1 and have captured just about everything. Had a little weird problem though, some of the clips, not all, came into my Final Cut Express bin with those black lines above and below the picture ( like how widescreen film looks on TCM television)

How can I correct this in the capture`?, the weird thing is that I went to recapture some footage that I already had when this happened without me changing anything on the computer or on the camera.
In other words, the first time I captured one of the clips, it wasn't like that, when I went to recapture, it did?

thanks

I figured it out for those who want to know, you can adjust it if you control/click on the clips in the bin and then get the info on the clips, there you can just unclick or click anamorphic.
