FCP strobing/flickering on pans
I have some footage that I shot with a VX2000 that is a pan of a showroom floor, when I speed up the clip I get a weird strobing/flickering effect. Im only speeding up the clip around 50%, and Ive tried turning off the frame blend option also.
I dont remember this happening before with a similar clip several months ago. any suggestions? |

Was the showroom floor illuminated by flourescent lighting? This may be the issue. If you use a shutter or frame rate other than a multiple of 60, you'll encounter this.
If you have the camera on auto-white balance, it will cause an odd color shifting issue as the camera tries to chase the correct WB in response to brightness changes caused by shutter/frame rates other than a multiple of 60 (the power line frequency). -gb- |

Try De-Interlacing the footage then exporting it. Import the rendered footage and slow that down. Worth an experiment.
