Moving from 4x3 sequence to 16x9 with out recutting
I'm looking for help with a little mistake I made. I cut anamorphic 16x9 footage in a 4x3 sequence. Now I want to transfer the edit to a 16x9 sequence, but when I copy and paste the clips into the new sequence, it adds letterboxing and squishes the footages. It looks like the new sequence is treating the edited clips like 4x3 footage. When I turn the anamorphic box off in the sequence settings, it only makes the problem worse. Is there a way I can pull this off with out having to recut?
Thanks in advance. |

Go to sequence settings and check if it's 16:9 anamorphic. Then go to the footage in the timeline and go to remove attributes, then remove distort and the footage should look fine now! Good luck.
