Delete not used stuff?
Hey everybody,
I made a dvd production and now I want to delete everything that I didn't use in the end to save space on my external hard drive. What is the best and more important the safest way to do this? Thank you in advance? Niels |

Niels,
It would help if you could tell us what NLE you are editing with. In AVID, for instance, there is a function called 'consolidate' which will consolidate all the footage in a project, allowing you to eliminate the excess footage. |

Hey Richard,
I am editing in Final Cut 5.1.2. , so maybe it is the same as in Avid. Thank you. Niels |

Avid Schmavid
FCP has the same feature. It is called Media Manager and has lots of options.
