Simple Import Question.

Batch Capture from my Citidisk, doing the Mpeg walk around.

Or from tape through FCP.

Do both give the same quality? Is it worth the wait for the batch capture?

HD Space is not an issue, few Terabytes of that laying around.

Which is better for the job though?

I haven't seen a difference unless the lack of tape dropout and timecode from the hard disk means anything to you. Converting from M2T files unfortunately resets the timecode for every file.

Actually capturing from tape can take less time depending on your computer.
