Help! Which version of FCP 5 allows HDV print to tape?

Have version 5.0.4 and can't seem to export HDV 720/30p back through firewire to my JVC HD-100. Have been capturing and editing from it. Final cut actually acts as if it is exporting and runs ahead as if all is OK, but the camera gives an error on the screen saying "No HDV signal" and then pops out of record back into standby. Anyone know if this is a FCP version issue? What minimum update is needed to get functionality? Would it make any difference to try exporting it after rendering into HDV apple inter. codec?

5.0.4 should handle your HDV footage. My first attempt would be to reinstall quicktime, it has solved a lot of problems for me in the past.

We are using 5.1.2 now, so I cant test it out for you.
