A/V is not into sync after capturing with FCP from XL2
A/V not sync in FCP
Hi, After capturing clips with FCP from XL2 the audio and video is not into sync. the audio is first for about 2 seconds. what should I do? thank u |

If you're just watching and listening to your video through the Mac make sure your A/V settings are set to the correct outputs. Go to the Audio Playback and Video Playback tabs and make sure they aren't set to "Line Out" or anything like that. I havn't got a copy of FCP in front of me now so can't recall the exact settings.
If you're playing out to an external monitor/TV I've always found that I can't watch the video in sync on both the Mac screen and the TV. Other solution that seems to work is to just close the project completely and then re-open it. Hope one of these helps you. |

Try doing a search of this forum this issue has come up before related to the XL2 not recording at exactly 48000 Hz one thing you could try is to send the entire audio from the clip over to Soundtrack Pro and do a Process-Resample and choose 48KHz (48000 Hz) and see if that helps.
