can't capture HDV into FCP
hey all, having an odd problem. I'm trying to capture Sony HVR-Z1 108050i footage into FCP 5.04. I'm running a Dual 1.8 GHz with 4 GB of RAM, OSX 10.4.6.
I created a project with the native HDV setting (rather than AIC). When I open up the Log & Capture window it shows 'VTR OK' and I can control my SONY HDV deck remotely from FCP. However when I play the tape no video shows up on the window. When I try and capture, again, it shows no video coming through. Not sure what to do here, any thoughts? |

Is the camera the ONLY thing connected to the Mac via FireWire (i.e. no other devices, hubs or hard drives?)
