Trouble Importing Plug-ins
I downloaded Lyric's Shadow Highlight video plug in from Final Cut Pro, but when I go to add it to my Plugins folder under Final Cut Pro application support, the file is locked and I can not modify it. I am the only user on this comp so it's not an admin problem. Could it be due to the fact that I have an academic licence of FCS?
Note: Sorry guys, I'm just dumb... I can import the plugin. Sorry

No worries Matt :-)
Just do a file get info on the plugins file and twirl down the "ownership and permission" and then "details" by messing with some of the options you should be able to give yourself the "authority" ;-) to put stuff in that folder. If you can't change any of the options click the lock and enter your admin password.
