Soundtrack Pro screws up audio sequence when gain is added

Can anyone explain why whenever I try to add gain in Soundtrack Pro, my audio goes out of sync exactly 1hr 42min into the sequence?

I'm sweetening the audio for a seminar and the first seminar worked perfectly, now this other seminar loses sync when I add gain.

I'm using a quicktime reference file off FCP 5.1 just like I used for the first seminar.

The audio sync is perfect until I add the gain!

Any help would be appreciated.

I seem to have found a work around. I just exported the .wav audio files from FCP then made the same adjustments in Soundtrack Pro, then exported the file w/compressor. It seems to be in sync now.
