Best external firewire capture device?
I have powerbook 17" G4 and am looking to get a simple external capture device. Looking to get a deck later, but for now, something simple and cheap.
I know that there afre a lot out there for PC. My question is, what do you use?? Let me know!! THanks Bryon <><

What do you want to capture from? Analog standard definition video (such as s-video) or analog high definition video (like component video)?
A box like this will capture standard definition composite, component and s-video: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...ughType=search Of course if you're capturing from a DV or HDV camera over firewire then you don't need any kind of external capture device; just plug it directly into your laptop. |
