Cleaning up after a project.

Hey there!

I have an ibook g4 with final cut express and a maxtor 300gb external harddisk. I have completed a few projects now and need them saved on my external hard disk but cleared from my computer. I use the hard disk as my scratch disk too if that makes a difference.

Anyone know how I clean up my computer without sacrificing anything on my hard disk?

Thanks,
Chris

ps. this is probably an easy one but i wanted to go ahead and ask before I tried anything, just didn't want to chance it.

As long as you have all of your captured scratch media on the external drive then you can just save a copy of the project file on the external drive as well and you should have no problems.
