Final Cut crash
Just new to FCP and MAC. I've had FCP 5.1 universal for 2 days now but it has crashed 4 times already. When I say crash, I mean FCP just dissappears, poof, gone. No warning, no nothing, has anyone else experienced this type of behaviour.
Thank-you in advance, Brian |

You'll find an excellent (and perhaps more info than you want all at once) Final Cut Pro troubleshooting guide here:
Final Cut Pro: Troubleshooting Basics http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302337 and here: Troubleshooting Your Final Cut Pro System http://www.kenstone.net/fcp_homepage...cp_jordan.html Trashing preferences is among the most effective crash stoppers, as is making sure System, QuickTime, and FCP are all up to date via Software Updater. If you are so inclined, you can make sure you have a baseline system with a clean re-installation of Final Cut Pro 5.1 from the Installation disk. Good Luck!
