video cards
hi i was wondering if i added a nother video card to the one i have would my render time be faster for magic bullets v. 2.0 i have a G5 quad with 4 gigs of ram and it still takes like 2 min to render a 7 second clip. and i read that it depends on the video card alot for stuff. right now i have the geforce 7800 GT

My understanding about video cards in general was they they were not really that useful when rendering(they help a lil), video card i thought was more for realtime stuff happening on screen as you manipulate it (window adjustment/color changes, scubbing)....rendering i thought relied more on RAM, processor, and HDD. I would say get some more ram max it out i think thats like 8GB

The Mac version of MBE2 may only work with ATI cards...? That's what it says on their site anyways.
