slo motion in FCP with HDV....Help please!
I am having a problem.....got HDV on a HDV timeline, apple "J" to change speed of clip to 50%, unrendered it looks slow...all good to this point. After I render the sequence (option "R") the clip appears to play at 100% again. Exporting the sequence as a QT movie the clip looks slow. Why, after rendering it does the clip not play slow anymore within FCP? Do I just have to not render? Seems very odd. I have tried all kinds of settings and I can't get this "feature" to go away.
Any help would be great. Cheers, Scott |

Scott, I just tried exactly what you said and I had no problems, the clip plays in 50% slo-mo just fine . What are your timeline and clip settings?

Hi, thanks for the reply. Your test was after rendering an hdv clip on an hdv timeline?
Ugh...I'll do more testing when I get home, but I thought I had tried everything that I can think of... Cheers, Scott |
