Disappearing windows
I'm an editing newbie still and have gone through all the provided tutorials, and searched through the manual but I still don't know what to do when I accidentally hit the wrong button and some of the FCP windows disappear. Is there a short cut to putting the Final Cut screens back in their default mode?
Thanks all:) |

WINDOWS at the top bar, ARRANGE then select from the pull down STANDARD. That should get you back. I ran into this too on my first project. I am still a novice at FCP, so perhaps someone else has a shortcut or alt idea.

A common problem is accidently closing the canvas window and then not being able to figure out how to get it back. You'd expect it to be somewhere in the windows menu, but it isn't!
If this ever happens, just go to the browser and double-click on your sequence. It will open up in the Canvas window and all will be well again. :-) |
