good software to convert to WMV w/MAC
Anyone know of a inexpensive software where I can make Windows Media Video with a MAC Computer? I use FCP & Compressor for the most part, or Quicktime, but want an option to make .wmv format.
Thanks ahead of time. Joe |

Don't know if there is another less expensive solution but I know this works.

thanks, i'll read that one over. If a cheaper one doesn;t pop up in a bit, I may have to bite the bullet on the price.

AFAIK, it's the only viable solution availalbe on OSX. I have the player and it works really good, allowing me to play WMV files right in the Quicktime Player. -gb- |

GREG, I can't seem to find anything on AFAIK through any of the searches I've tried. Would you have any link possibly? Thanks. Joe

Joseph,
You're kidding, right? Just in case you're not, AFAIK translates into "As Far As I Know" Flip4Mac is the cheapest thing out there that I know of that will convert quicktimes into WMV's. Autodesk has Cleaner, but it's like $600. |

IMO - In My Opinion IMHO - In My Humble Opinion YMMV - Your Mileage May Vary (ie: you may or may not get the same results) AFAIK - As Far As I Know FWIW - For What It's Worth These abbreviations cut down on typing time. Probably the most common one you've seen...ASAP - As Soon As Possible. There are more but I can't think of them at the moment. -gb- |

I got what your saying guys. Just never use abbreviations much when it comes to typing email. Except for the most used ones like the obvious ASAP, LOL, etc... But it's giving me a good laugh now for being naive :) CMM (catch my meaning) Just kidding :) But thanks for the great lead on the software.
