Kona LHe card and G5 Quad-- output sound way too loud
Hi Everyone,
I just installed a Kona LHe card into my Mac G5 Quad, and I noticed that the output sound levels from the XLR out on the Kona breakout box is way too loud. I need to set the audio output level to 1% or 2% to have a normal level output on my speakers (Tannoy Reveal Actives). Does anyoen know of any other way to make the volume lower on the XLR audio output on the Kona Lhe card? Thanks for your thoughts and ideas, Khashyar |

I wonder if this extreme loud volume level has anything to do with the fact that the Tannoy Reveals are powered speakers with volume control? I tend to doubt it.
I also installed the updated software (and drivers) from AJA for the Kona Lhe card (version 1.2.2). Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Khashyar |

Sounds like you may need a small mixer to control levels. Even a small Behringer would suffice.
