Audio capture in Final Cut Pro
Hi
I'm pretty new to final cut pro. I'm recording 4 channels on my canon xl1s and was trying to import them last night, but could only import a mix of the 4 or or two at a time with the picture. Is there a way to import all 4 at the same time, but have them seperate, so that you would have 4 track of audio to your one video track. Thank you. Llewellyn |

To my knowledge, there is not option for this on the Mac platform....there are a couple of apps that will do it on the PC, but not on the Mac. In FCP, this will require a second pass.

I think that you may have to capture in two passes one for chanels 1 and 2 and the other for 3 and 4 you can then sync up all the audio tracks and your video and then choose either link or merge from the modify menu IIRC and then when you move or trim your video it will move/trim all the audio tracks.
