Mac gamma for video
WHat gamma/monitor setting should i use for doing video in the mac.
Its fairly dark on some already dark footage but i dont want to make the footage to bright. Any idea what to calibrate to? B.Sundry |

Just monitor your footage on an external monitor with a DV device doing the digital-analog conversion.

The Mac gamma issue affects computer monitors, but not external non-computer monitors.
By computer monitors, I mean computer monitors connected to your computer's video cards. External monitors would be those connected to a firewire device, or a hardware capture card (aja, decklink, etc.). |
