FCP5 - exporting MP3
Howdie,
Ive been asked to supply Mp3's of some of the interviews we've been cutting. Ive been able to find a bunch of audio formats within FCP, but as of yet have not found an mp3 option. Ive looked through compressor and export 'using quicktime conversion' - any hints?

you need to render it out as an aiff, then use itunes to convert to mp3. under the "advanced" menu, there is a convert feature. you may have to set this to convert to mp3, specifically, which you do by looking under itunes "preferences," click on "advanced" under the preferences menu, click on "importing," then go to the "import using" command, to set your preferred conversion format. good luck!

You can also use compressor if you don't want to use iTunes. Here's a link that explains exactly how: http://www.kenstone.net/fcp_homepage...ompressor.html
