Problem with Capturing, bad tape?
We filmed a wedding this weekend with an XL2 and an XL1. No problems. However, today when we tried to dump our footage into final cut pro, we get this message after about 5 seconds of capture:
http://www.stinky.rednek.net/images/problem.png We've tried capturing using the XL2 and a tape from both the XL1 and the XL2, and we've tried capturing using the XL1 using a tape from both the XL1 and the XL2, and I keep getting the same thing. I've restarted our powermac and everything. Suggestions? Please don't tell me our tapes are screwed up. |

Ah! I had capture mode set to PAL instead of NTSC! Silly me. What a noobish mistake to make. I'll make a mental note of that.
*For the search engines* Capture encountered a problem reading the data on your source tape. This could be due to a problem with the tape. Capture has been aborted and your clip has been saved. *End search engine stuff* |
