Books-Final Cut Pro 5/Final Cut Studio
Hello everyone,
I enjoy these forums. Is there a book(s) that you recommend to learn Final Cut Studio and Final Cut pro? Regards, Gilbert. |

Gilbert, it depends on your background and current skillset.
If you have been editing professionally on Avid, then I recommend "FCP for Avid Editors" because it teaches everything from the perspective of Avid. I'm not sure if they have updated the book to include new features in FCP5. http://www.peachpit.com/title/0321166493 If you have been editing in other desktop editing programs like iMovie or Premiere, then I would suggest an intermediate level book like Apple's Pro Training series or maybe just the instruction manual that ships with Final Cut Pro. http://www.peachpit.com/bookstore/pr...321334817&rl=1 If you have never edited before, then I would suggest a beginners book or tutorial video. http://www.atomiclearning.com/finalcutprox.shtml http://www.peachpit.com/title/0321118022
