Picture Quality
Hi everyone. I'm an idiot for asking this but I've done this before and i think its just my settings but i don't know what to set it to? I have a footage in FCP i'm working with and incorporating some of the photographer's images. The pictures are about 8mb a piece give or take, and when i put it in my timeline the playback looks a bit out of focus until i pause the frame, the picture will come back to focus. What am i doing wrong? Thanks for all your help in advance.

You aren't doing anything wrong. This just has to do with your playback/RT settings. Try setting the video quality to high or, better yet, just check it on an NTSC monitor (assuming you are working in NTSC). This only happens during playback in the viewer/canvas in FCP and has nothing to do with your output quality.
