Mpeg Streamclip or FCP problem?
I am trying to convert my Canon T3i video and import into Final Cut 7. I can convert the files to ProRes 422 LT but when I try to bring them into Final cut I get "unknow file" and the red stop sign. Can anyone help?

Why don't you use the Log and Transfer Canon plug in?

Re: Mpeg Streamclip or FCP problem?
It wont support the T3i. I do know someone has posted a way to hack the code and change it from 5d to T3i, just didnt want to go that route
I think I may have figured it out. I shot at 1280x720 at 60fps. Could it be my project is set at 30 fps? I will find out tonight. Plan to shoot a short clip at 1080 30fps and see if that will go through. Funny thing, once I go through streamclip the icon says QT but it looks different that my other QT video icons |
