Choppy playback in FCP7 with Lion OS
I have just upgraded from my 2008 Macbook Pro to a Mac Pro 2x2.8GHz Quad Core with 10GB RAM and running OSX 10.7.5. On my Macbook Pro I could playback my timeline with no problems, but on my new Mac Pro I get choppy playback and have to playback using Safe RT instead of Unlimited RT. Also when editing in multiclip I could not play realtime. Is this a Lion issue, and if so, any fixes or work arounds? I hope I haven't just spent $1800 on my Mac Pro for nothing
