A musical note for quicktime
I have to use a particular file from an FTP site a few times a year and this year something happened. It is a .mov file but when I go to play it it is just a musical note and a back ground and there is no audio. The time slider plays at normal speed and nothing happens. I tried another file and the same thing. I contacted the company and they say it plays fine on their system and it might have something to do with an avid .mov codec. I have FCP7 and everything is updated via the system update and it says I have no other updates. Any suggestions? BTW the company won't send a different file since it is my problem I can't view the file.

Re: A musical note for quicktime
You could try some avid codecs for quicktime, like this one:
Avid Codecs / DNxHD 2.3.7 - VideoHelp.com Downloads Maybe google "avid codec quicktime" and see if anything works. |

Hey Jordan. That worked perfectly. It is amazing how many times you can google something and can never find it and a quick post on here and you have your answer. Thanks for your help
