Possible to scale video and NOT anti-alias?
This is going to sound backwards, but I'd like to resize a clip in the Timeline/Canvas and NOT anti-alias it. For instance, I'd like to show a clip of 8-bit video game footage: I'd like to retain the pixelation and sharp/jagged-edged graphics as I scale the video up to fill a project that's 720p.
Is there a solution for this in FCP 7 or Compressor? Thank you in advance!

Re: Possible to scale video and NOT anti-alias?
If you want to retain the aliasing/blocking as you resize you need to figure out a way to
do a nearest-neighbor interpolation resize. On windows you can do this with virtualdub. Not sure of what options there are on the mac side. |

Re: Possible to scale video and NOT anti-alias?
Thanks, Dustin. That's a big help actually, as I can use Virtualdub via a Windows PC if I go that route. Appreciate the tip!
