Spontaneous Shutdown Issues - HELP !!
I'm having issues with my Mac Pro. It seems to run fine in all programs - except when I attempt to process an MOV file for burning on a DVD. It has handled this with ease in the past but now when I try to process the file thru Abode Media Encoder - it will completely shut down the computer. When I try to send the file from FCP to Compressor I hit "submit" and Compressor gets stuck in "waiting".
All software is updated. I'm running 2x3 GHz Quad-core Intel Xeon , 9 GB ram. OS X 10.6.8. Any ideas guys ?? Thanks ! |

Re: Spontaneous Shutdown Issues - HELP !!
Is it a specific file, or any file?

Re: Spontaneous Shutdown Issues - HELP !!
Geoff,
I actually exported that file and then did it again in a shorter version - same result. I'm going to try a much shorter version & see what happens next. Thanks, Darin |
