MacBook Pro & FCP

I've been using a Thunderbolt 17" MBP with the stock 750GB 5400RPM drive and it does quite well with XDCAM EX 1920x1080 24p material. At this point in the project I'm just cutting a single stream of video, but I am pleasantly surprised - thought sure I would need a RAID 0 connected to do anything with HD.
