Best Compressor Settings HD PAL TO HD NTSC?
Hi Everyone,
I am getting .mov files from the BBC online that are HD PAL. I need to use Compressor to make them into HD NTSC .mov files. What are the compressor settings you like to use that keep the best image possible? Thanks, Sharon P. |

If you have HD .MOV files then they are not PAL as like NTSC that is an analogue TV standard. What is the problem you are trying to solve?

I guess he's talking about the framerate (NTSC = 60 fps, PAL = 50 fps). It doesn't make "HD PAL" correct in any way, but I've heard such reference before.

In that case it would be 30fps & 25fps. Either way it doesn't matter if it's going to viewed on a computer monitor.
