DVD menu autorun on usb-stick
Hey everybody,
Yet again I am hoping for you expertise :-) I have created a DVD menu in DVD Studio Pro that has a link to a film and a link to an email address. Now I have to put this menu with the links on an usb stick and it has to autorun when it's put in the usb port of the computer. Is this possible and if yes what's the best way to do this? Thanks in advance Cheers Niels |

Re: DVD menu autorun on usb-stick
Not possible! That's why it was called DVD Studio Pro, for DVD authoring only, not USB sticks. You can only do an auto run on DVD not on USB sticks.

Re: DVD menu autorun on usb-stick
There are quite a few ways to do this but not with a DVD.
If you want a nice menu with animations and the like (as in a DVD style menu) you'd be best off creating the menu in Flash and then your autorun would run a flash exe file and go full screen. The you could have the look and feel of a DVD menu. Another way to do it is to put a portable browser on the stick (Autorun DVD/USB stick for both OSX and Windows with portable Chrome or Safari - Tech Support Guy Forums) and have the autorun launch a website which could have multimedia elements. You can create a an atorun which works on Mac and PC. |
