Panasonic P2 and FCP
I currently have FCP version 5.1.4 but would like to import and edit video shot on a Panasonic AG-HPX301e either imported directly from the camera or via a suitable card reader. Which version of FCP would I need to upgrade to (the cheapest version if possible!)?
Many thanks as usual Simon

Re: Panasonic P2 and FCP
The cheapest version also happens to be the latest; wait until June and get the new FCP which will sell for $300. Keep in mind this *only* the FCP app, not an entire Final Cut suite. Apple has changed up how it's offering the FCP apps.

Re: Panasonic P2 and FCP
NOTE: Because the soon-to-be-released version of FCP "X" is a completely new application there is the possibility - that none of us will know for sure until it's actually available - that it may not run on the hardware you currently own. If that ends up being the case I'd shop around for copies of the *current* version of Final Cut Studio; I'm sure by then there will be dozens of copies available at a dirt-cheap price. I hope.
