M2ts to Quicktime
Looking for best software to convert M2t files to quicktime, coming off a flash card recorded from a Sony HVR-z5u. Free is good, but I don't mind paying either.

If Log & Transfer in FCP doesn't see them, try Clipwrap. There's a free demo.

MPEG Streamclip works well, and it's freeware.

No no no no no!
Clipwrap & MPEGStream clip are both good, but not the best for this. Download the Sony plug in so you can use FCP's log & transfer. FCP 6: SonyRecordingUnit110.dmg FCP 7: SonyRecordingUnit111.dmg Sony | Micro Site HDV
