FCP Crashing on Export and Render. Help!
So here's what I have. 6 sequences in my project. Only this one will not export to Compressor. It exports for a little bit then says Final Cut unexpectedly quit.
Render settings are ProRes422. Clips are from my EX1, 7D (converted in Streamclip) and D7000 (converted in Streamclip). The sequence is 1920x1080, square pixels, 29.97 fps. The D7000 clips are 23.97, everything else is 29.97. I tried opening a new project and new sequence, copy and pasting the clips from the sequence that will not export. Same error. I deleted the Final Cut Pro Documents folder (used to render) and created a new one, same error. I have 1.2TB free on the drive I am using to render with. Any clues? Thanks! |

Try trashing your preferences- that may correct whatever is going wrong.

Re: FCP Crashing on Export and Render. Help!
Usually this occurs with a bad clip. Have you tried to export a QuickTime file first before going to Compressor? Crashes like this happen in order of your sequence so you might be able to figure out the clip that's the culprit by the percentage that's completed before the crash..
