Digibeta to ProRes ~ a final foray
So digi is of B&W feature film ~ orig 4X3 SD. In converting to 1020x1080 will the image come out squeezed or unsqueezed if I don’t specify parameters within Pro Res to video transfer house?
And to all, thanks in advance.

If you don't specify, I imagine you will get back exactly what you gave them (i.e standard def) in a prores file.
I'm guessing you mean 1920 x 1080. Assuming you have TOLD them to upscale it to HD, you should also tell them whether you want it supplied cropped, pillarboxed, or (god knows why...) stretched. It's not going to be significantly more complicated for them to provide any of the above - so just ask for what you want.

Yes indeed, Craig, 1920x1080. Thank you.
