Frustrated with font size on my new MBP 17
I've just spent hard earn money on a super machine that might be awesome for applications like Final Cut but why does the font had to be so small. If I change the resolution it worsen the situation, I try to zoom in the pages and the pictures get blurry. Is there something I can do rather that taking the machine back to the store? My 2007 Macbook display the font 300% better!!! Does the Macbook Pro 15" in standard resolution has the same problem?
Comments and suggestion welcome... |

You can change your desktop font size and smoothing.

What I can't figure out on mine is how to set the expanded view as a default in Safari. I make it larger, then when I go out of Safari and come back, it's back to the tiny size again. I can't find where to set the size to stay where it was when I exited.

unfortunately in Finder, the sidebar font is tiny and cannot be changed... but under view>show view options, the rest can be changed for Finder windows.
for internet, i use Firefox and the NoSquint plug in, which controls zoom for both the text and the whole page, and it remembers your settings for different sites. Big help! |
