dvds designed/burned in dvd studio pro play on windows computers? all dvd players?
dvds designed/burned in dvd studio pro play on windows computers? all dvd players?
i have a final cut pro project that i'm sending to dvd studio pro so i can make dvd menus and then burn into dvds. will these dvds play on window computers? will these dvds play on a stand-alone dvd players? any and all thoughts are appreciated. be well rob |

It's the quality of the DVD blanks you use, not the authoring program, that assures playback in the most machines. Most Windows computers will play authored DVDs except very old ones that haven't had their software updated in a very long time. I have not encountered one of those in years.
All modern stand-alone DVD players should play your DVDs, most BluRay players as well but those can have firmware issues that the user may need to update before they can watch authored discs. Use quality DVD blanks (Taiyo Yuden, Fuji, etc) and there should be no problems.

download and install pgcedit free version
PgcEdit home have it open your dvd and if all goes well - all is well. The program will bring any problems to your attention |
