General Error while exporting - Solution

I was trying to export a 69 minute documentary but kept getting "general error". After many frustrating attempts I came upon a rather simple solution to discover which of my clips was corrupted. I monitored at what % the export process stalled and then calculated how many minutes this was equivalent. In my case 12% of a 69 minute time line was equivalent to about 6min16 seconds. I then did a test export of just a few clips in that section of my film, and immediately found the corrupted file.

Hope this can help someone
