Super white / super black in FCP?

Hi,

I'm mastering a film in FCP6. I've been working throughout in HDV but plan to copy the whole thing to a new sequence in Prores HQ for the final render. The query I have is about the white / super white and black / super black settings - I will export the sequence to Compressor for rendering to MPEG2 and then into DVDSP for the DVD mastering stage - which ones to use, super or normal? I've searched here and elsewhere on-line and have found articles about it but they all refer to DV rather than HD, though the consensus seems to be to use white not super white but super black is OK. But I also wondered about titles (white on black) - would they not look better on something a bit less black?

Thanks,

Geoff
