probs with color replacement
I've been fiddling around with the color correction tools in FCP all afternoon and I can't seem to change a pale pink dress to white. When I key the pink in the dress, I get more skin than dress so the shift throws the skin tones way off. Suggestions? The idea is to get this pink evening dress to look more like a wedding dress without making the model look like an alien or a zombie.

It sounds as if the color of the dress & the model's skin are very close to each other. If that's the case, you may need to rotoscope the dress- meaning that FCP is not a good choice for this.
you may want to try it in Color, Motion or AE. |

Yes, this bride has too much of a rosy glow, alas. Will give it a try in Color.
