Lens filter plugin recommendation?

Hi all -- I'm trying to match old footage, one shot on XL1 with Black Pro Mist and one shot without any filter. Anyone know of filter(s) that can bloom the highlights or maybe a plugin recommendation? Thanks -- Kevin

Kevin, have you checked out my Film Effects for Final Cut Pro? It has black and white diffusion controls which could do exactly what you want. You can check it out at www.nattress.com

If that's not an option for you, dupe the video onto a layer above itself, put a gaussian blur on it, and blend it with the layer below with "screen" blending mode, and adjust it's opacity.

Hope that helps,

Graeme
