CHV-Plugins Image Stabilizer
Does anyone have any experience with the CHV-Plugins MotionTracker Image Stabilizer?
I have a number of tripod telephoto shots that are jittery because of the windy conditions under which I was taping. None of these involve panning or tilting, just stationary shots that have distracting "shivers." I'm using FCE 2.0.2 and the built-in stabilizer produces only middling (and occasionally bizarre) results. I'm just wondering how effective this CHV stabilizer is and if it's as easy to use as the promotional materials say it is. Thanks for any insight. |

I haven't used that plugin from CHV but can recommend the admittedly more expensive Lock and Load X from CoreMelt. There is a 15-day free trial version so you can see if it will work for your particular footage. CoreMelt plugins for Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Express, After Effects and Motion - Lock and Load X
