Black outline on my mask in Apple Motion, how to get rid of it? (pic)

How do I get rid of the black outline? I want the video to look like there is no outline. The idea is to have the text move behind it.

Your matte choker shouldn't be on the mask itself. Try moving it up one level directly onto "Sweet 16 1-5". From the looks of what you are doing you shouldn't even need a choker, you can adjust the softness of the mask in the mask tab in the inspector.

One other note: If your are pre-rendering elements with an alpha channel you should turn off "pre-multiply." FCP and Motion understand quicktimes with alpha channels that are not premultiplied. Premultiplying quicktimes will give you a similar undesirable effect.
