Audio Metres in FCP
Hey everybody I was wondering if anyone knows about the accuracty of the audio metres in FCP. I don't have a very good ear for mixing yet and I don't want to rely on the audio metres if they aren't accurate. Any help would be appreciated and I hope that soon I can help contribute to this forum too

I'm no audio expert... but I suggest that for starters you read the audio section of the FCP manual. I found it very useful and it explained some digital audio concepts that I wasn't too familiar with from the analog world.
You can read it in Volume II Editorial, Part 2, Chapter 10 (page 415). It's also available in PDF form via the Help menu while running FCP. |
