solo buttons on audio tracks aren't "soloing" any more
I working on a short film with quite a few audio tracks, and at some point the solo buttons on those tracks stopped working as advertised. It'll sometimes isolate the track I have solo'd, but sometimes audio from other tracks that occurs simultaneously will play even when it's not supposed to. I assume this has something to do with the fact that it's an imac, or is a RAM setting, or something.
Anything I can do? Is this just an FCP limitation? v6 by the way. |

If you did an "audio mixdown" then FCP is probably just playing from the audio render files. Delete the audio renders (using the Render Manager under the tools menu) and you should be able to solo the tracks.

Ah. That makes sense. I'm working in a 96k/24bit timeline but some of my sounds are all different sample rates etc. (can't be helped). . .so of course it forces me to render lots of stuff.
So, screwed either way then. |
