Thanks, I am not sure I want to mess around buying older versions, will probably just buy the new version.

I have 2 photographer friends who decided video is not for them, one has Final Cut Studio 2 and the other says its version 6.06, but he may be thinking Final Cut Pro vs 6.06

Anyways, are both these eligible for upgrade, I ask because I would like to buy one that is cheaper and play with before upgrading to the new version.
