No Data from Device?
Ok so still new to the whole FCP scheme of things.
I go to capture footage from my Sony FX7 and when i click play on my camera and than "Capture>Now" I get this message "Capture was aborted due to lack of incoming data from device. Check your connections and that the deck is playing." I have a 27" iMac which I bought about a month ago I have done "Easy set up - HDV1080i50" I shot in HD, and I can press play in the Logging screen and it will play on the screen of my camera so the camera is connected but I can never receive a picture on the logging screen. I have captured before but never using HD only DV. So im not quite sure what the goer is. Any help would be awesome, as im a beginner when it comes to FCP. Cheers Sam |

Normally the Easy Setup is the safest way of setting something up.
That being said. Try to go in the menu bar to Final Cut Pro - Audio/Video Settings and there you have a selection Device Control or something. Try a couple of different ones out, and see if that makes a difference. |
