compression issue
Hi,
I've been having trouble getting good results from Compressor in certain situations. Specifically, cross dissolves in the video come out extremely pixelated. This happens whether I export straight to Compressor from Final Cut 5, or make a QuickTime movie first. The strange thing is that I get better-looking results by using the one pass, fastest encode setting than with the high quality setting. Anyone know why that would be and how to fix it? Thanks, Jeff |

You either need to add compression markers in FCP or check your setting for motion detecting in compressor.
